Job DescriptionDescription: Marketing and Brand Manager Company: Skynet Innovations Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Direct Reports: None About the Role Skynet Innovations is seeking a Marketing and Brand Manager to lead and execute all marketing efforts for a fast-growing, regionally focused IT Managed Services company. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role requiring a build-as-you-go mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing and Brand Manager will be responsible for elevating brand presence, driving demand through market differentiation, and supporting company growth through creative and data-driven marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Own and execute the company’s brand strategy, messaging, and visual identity across all channels., • Manage HubSpot CRM as the central marketing and sales enablement platform, including pipeline visibility, lead nurturing, and reporting., • Develop and publish content across website, blog, social media, and email channels to drive engagement and support SEO and AEO goals., • Lead SEO and AEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and AI-driven search visibility., • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns, including search, social, display, and email., • Build and manage email marketing workflows, segmentation, automation, and A/B testing within HubSpot., • Track and report on key marketing metrics using tools such as Semrush, HubSpot, and Google Analytics., • Model company core values through actions and interactions., • Operate with an ownership mindset: proactive, accountable, and results-driven., • Communicate marketing performance clearly through reporting and data storytelling. Brand Authority and Visibility • Grow web domain authority., • Increase AI Visibility Score and brand presence in AI-generated responses., • Improve total share of voice within the regional MSP competitive landscape., • Improve organic search rankings for target keywords., • Develop content that earns featured snippets, AI citations, and authoritative backlinks., • Own the company website as a conversion-focused asset., • Maintain a clean and structured HubSpot instance with accurate pipeline data., • Build and optimize lead nurture sequences, lifecycle stages, and segmentation., • Provide reporting that connects marketing campaigns to pipeline outcomes., • Plan and publish consistent, high-quality content across blog, social, and email channels., • Build a social presence that supports brand trust and thought leadership., • Translate technical topics into accessible content for SMB and mid-market audiences., • Generate marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) to support sales efforts., • Build campaigns aligned to each stage of the B2B buyer journey., • Support proposal, pitch, and event collateral., • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field., • 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech, SaaS, or IT services., • 2+ years supporting sales teams in a consultative or service-driven environment., • Hands-on proficiency with HubSpot CRM (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and reporting)., • Working knowledge of SEO and AEO principles., • Experience managing website content, analytics, and performance optimization., • Strong writing and content creation skills for a B2B audience., • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action., • Proven ability to execute multi-channel marketing programs independently., • Demonstrated portfolio showing measurable business impact. Preferred Qualifications • Experience mentoring or supporting cross-functional teams or junior marketing staff., • Proficiency with project management tools., • HubSpot certifications (Inbound, Email Marketing, CRM)., • Google Analytics (GA4) Certification., • SEO certifications (e.g., Semrush Academy, Moz)., • Familiarity with AI-driven search and structured content/schema markup., • Experience within an MSP, IT services, or technology company.
