Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mortgage Specialist to support mortgage loan officers and processors with day-to-day administrative and client service functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring loan files move efficiently and accurately through the mortgage process from application to closing. Key Responsibilities • Assist loan officers with loan file setup, document collection, and ongoing file maintenance, • Prepare, review, and submit mortgage documentation for processing and underwriting, • Communicate with borrowers, processors, underwriters, title companies, and other third parties to obtain required documentation, • Track loan milestones and ensure deadlines are met, • Update loan systems and maintain accurate records, • Support pre-closing and post-closing activities as needed, • Provide professional and responsive customer service to borrowers throughout the processQualifications, • Prior experience in a mortgage, lending, banking, or financial services environment preferred, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); mortgage software experience a plus, • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and follow-throughPreferred Skills, • Familiarity with mortgage documentation (applications, disclosures, credit, income, assets), • Knowledge of loan processing workflows and compliance requirements, • Experience supporting loan officers or processorsPay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour Search managed by: Amaka Mozie Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
