Job Locations US-AZ-Tucson Type Full Time The Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) is an execution-focused individual contributor role responsible for coordinating the sourcing, production, and delivery of complex assemblies and components across internal factories and third-party suppliers. This role serves as the central point of coordination to ensure commitments to customers are met with respect to delivery, cost, quality, and responsiveness. The SCPM works in close partnership with Sales, Project & Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to translate customer demand and program requirements into executable supply chain plans. This role owns day-to-day execution, issue resolution, and cross-functional communication for assigned programs, ensuring alignment across factories and suppliers while proactively managing risk. Program Execution & Ownership Own end-to-end supply chain execution for assigned customer programs, products, or projects from order receipt through delivery. Most typically for optical and optomechanical assemblies, but also on other high impact projects. • Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for Sales and Project & Program Management on schedule, feasibility, constraints, and delivery commitments., • Coordinate cross-functional execution plans to support customer requirements, including timelines, priorities, and escalation paths., • Partner closely with Sales to support quoting, source selection, lead-time commitments, order prioritization, and customer communication., • Work with Project & Program Management teams to align supply chain execution with overall program schedules and milestones., • Collaborate with the Engineering, Proposal Development, and Manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability, routing clarity, and production readiness., • Coordinate production and material flow across internal factories and third-party suppliers to meet project/program requirements., • Serve as the primary coordination interface with assigned suppliers, managing schedules, priorities, and delivery performance., • Support supplier selection and onboarding activities in partnership with Strategic Sourcing and Quality., • Requires the ability to read prints for optical and mechanical components and understand key technical specifications that will add risk or manufacturing complexity., • Monitor production status, supplier deliveries, and factory loading to ensure on-time execution., • Lead expediting efforts for critical orders, shortages, or customer-driven priority changes., • Coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions for late, incomplete, or non-conforming deliveries., • Translate customer demand, forecasts, and project plans into executable supply chain requirements., • Partner with factories and suppliers to assess capacity, lead times, and constraints., • Support S&OP, project reviews, and program checkpoints by providing accurate supply chain status and outlook., • Support cost estimates, RFQs, and sourcing decisions in collaboration with Sales, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance., • Monitor program-level supply chain cost drivers and highlight risks to margin or profitability., • Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency, communication, and supplier performance., • Support development and adherence to supply chain processes, tools, and KPIs., • Make recommendations for policy or procedural changes, • Create reports and pivot tables, analyze data as needed to complete tasks at hand, • Assist Supply Chain Leadership as needed, • Participate in cross-functional program reviews, customer meetings, and internal planning sessions as required., • Support new product introductions, technology transfers, and program ramp-ups., • Additional projects as needed, • Perform other duties as assigned by management. The posted salary range for this role reflects the expected base pay. The actual offer will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, education, work experience, business needs, and geographic location.
