Job Description Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our Machine Shop as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This is a temporary position through Jan. 31, 2025. This position provides for the handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery of company products; including the identification, storage, issuance, and control of company-procured materials and items used in the manufacturing process. This position is involved in the kitting, shipping, receiving, and delivery/pickup of parts from suppliers. • Performs a combination of manual labor and clerical inventory transactions in a manufacturing environment., • Uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting inventory transactions., • Receives incoming materials or assemblies, parts, office supplies, equipment, etc., • Receives items in ERP/MRP system; processes shipping/delivery paperwork, and other material transactions., • Operates fork-lifts, pallet jacks, & cranes to move parts from shipping and receiving areas to storage or work areas.
