The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA is looking for an Manager, Performance Marketing to join our Denver/hybrid team. The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for bottom-of-funnel digital marketing strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting across all product lines within the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). This role focuses on generating qualified leads, conversions, and revenue through email acquisition campaigns, paid media, retargeting, and landing page optimization, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all campaigns are data-driven, aligned with organizational goals, and optimized to support MGMA’s enterprise-wide growth initiatives. This position drives measurable business KPIs through high-performing campaigns for the mid-size medical practice market. This includes developing, executing, and optimizing data-driven inbound and outbound marketing strategies designed to convert leads, accelerate pipeline velocity, and deliver revenue growth. By leveraging performance insights, audience segmentation, and targeted digital tactics the role ensures that every campaign directly contributes to achieving organizational goals. Essential Functions: • Develop, execute, and deploy plans and tactics for inbound and outbound marketing campaigns., • Maximize and create strategic integrated marketing plans that encompass all available marketing channels including web, email, direct mail, pay per click (PPC), social, media placement, and more., • Work with the Marketing Department and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective execution of data-driven marketing campaigns to support revenue growth. This includes planning for and managing content creation to support campaigns and drive response., • Create, implement, and monitor budget, ensuring that marketing goals and campaign targets are being met and within budget., • Monitor, analyze, and report tactical results of all campaign channels, and makes recommendations for campaign adjustments., • Regularly reviews market/competitive research, industry trends, and campaign results to identify opportunities and threats, keeping managers, Marketing team members, and product development teams informed of emerging trends., • Create, manage, execute, and report on automated marketing campaigns utilizing the marketing automation platform, monitor dashboards, and trends, engagement, and drive funnel advancement., • Create, update, and manage webpages for specific business units utilizing website best practices., • Positively impact the member/customer experience and campaign results by creating audience segmentation plans, filters, groups, and distribution lists based on segmentation best practices for product and lead generation programs that minimizes marketing touch fatigue and opt-outs., • Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of MGMA’s mission, vision, and values., • Familiar with marketing best practices (branding, digital, design and direct marketing, product marketing, demand generation, media placement, and similar)., • Excellence in acquisition and retention best practices., • Ability to write, proofread, and edit copy and creative content across different medium., • Solid foundation in all aspects of campaign creation, testing, anaylsis, and execution., • Ability to understand workflow processes and technology systems within the marketing/sales cycle., • Strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to track marketing campaign results, cross-tab various data sources, review data from different angles, and make improvement suggestions., • Excellent communication and written skills coupled with the ability to craft value propositions, benefit outlines, feature descriptions, and other messages that resonate with various market segments., • Ability to work effectively with a creative team to produce quality campaign materials., • Adept with marketing automation systems such as Marketo., • Technical problem-solving skills related to creating and updating landing/web pages, emails, reports, list pulls and other campaign-focused components., • Exceptional interpersonal skills even when working against deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, assimilate feedback from multiple stakeholders and adhere to tight deadlines., • Ambitous, life-long learner who strives for continuous improvement and advancement., • Must have the ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships. Direct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; coaching, mentoring, and providing guidance; planning, assigning, and directing work; setting goals, appraising performance, and recognizing achievements; addressing performance or behavioral issues; and resolving employee concerns. Requirements: Education: • Five (5) or more years in marketing campaign planning and execution role is required., • Experience with inbound and outbound, B2B marketing programs is preferred., • Two (2) or more years of supervisory or leadership experience, • Association/membership marketing and event marketing is preferred.
