Discover why Fort Wayne is a top destination for healthcare professionals seeking rewarding nursing jobs and work-life balance. \n\nTravel Nurse Job Details\n\n\n\t • Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805\n\t, • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n\t, • Healthcare Setting: OB Unit / Labor & Delivery\n\t, • Start Date: February 9, 2026\n\t, • End Date: May 11, 2026\n\t, • Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n\t, • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n\t, • Shift: 7pm – 7am (12-hour night shifts)\n\t, • Hourly Pay Rate: $100.00/hr - $110.00/hr\n\t, • Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs\n\t, • Orientation: Mandatory 7-day orientation (Mon-Fri week 1, Mon-Tue week 2, 8-hour days)\n\t, • Float Requirement: Please note, this position may occasionally float to a neighboring facility, which is approximately 18 miles from the primary facility. \n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n\n\t, • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an OBGYN RN or Labor & Delivery Nurse\n\t, • Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license\n\t, • BLS (AHA required)\n\t, • ACLS (AHA required)\n\t, • NRP certification\n\t, • Proficiency with EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring preferred\n\n\nOBGYN RN Responsibilities\n\n\n\t, • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, pre-term, and postpartum OB patients and newborns\n\t, • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries\n\t, • Perform cervical exams and interpret fetal monitoring\n\t, • Participate in neonatal resuscitation as needed\n\t, • Document patient care using EPIC EHR system\n\t, • Administer medications and manage IVs using Pyxis and Hospira systems\n\t, • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n\t professionals and the facilities that need them nationwide.
