Position Summary: The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and support services to clients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed nurse or healthcare professional. The HHA assists clients with daily living activities, promotes comfort and safety, and helps maintain a clean and healthy environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:, • Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene, • Toileting and incontinence care, • Mobility assistance and transfers, • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary, • Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition, • Take and record vital signs as assigned, • Provide medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations), • Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care, • Accompany clients to appointments or errands if required, • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, • Follow care plans and agency policies, • Ensure client safety and confidentiality at all times Qualifications: • Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (as required by state), • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred), • CPR certification (preferred or required per agency policy), • Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required), • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely, • Reliable transportation (if travel required), • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Skills & Competencies: • Compassionate and patient demeanor, • Dependable and punctual, • Ability to work independently, • Strong observation skills, • Respect for client dignity and privacy Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 lbs, • Ability to assist with transfers and mobility
