Job Description We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Helper to join our facilities team. This is an excellent entry-level or early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and wants to grow their skills in a supportive environment. You will work alongside experienced technicians to keep our buildings, equipment, and the hotel in top condition — no prior leadership experience needed Key Responsibilities • Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.)., • Perform routine facility upkeep including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning equipment rooms, and minor landscaping., • Help move and set up furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed., • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery under direct supervision., • Restock and organize maintenance supply closets and inventory., • Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner., • Support special projects such as facility deep cleans, seasonal preparations, or minor renovations., • Keep work areas clean and organized at all times. Qualifications & Requirements • High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)., • 2 years of general maintenance required, janitorial, or construction helper experience (will train the right candidate)., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods., • Basic knowledge of tools and willingness to learn new skills., • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if required for the role)., • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English., • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments (indoors/outdoors). Preferred Skills (Not Required) • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, apartment complex, hotel, or school setting., • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems., • Forklift or scissor-lift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
