Job DescriptionSalary: 52,000-62,000 Sargon is a family-owned company specializing in masonry, stone and steel construction. Sargon Masonry Construction is a full-service land development and commercial masonry contractor specializing in perimeter fencing, retaining walls, masonry structures, entry monuments, footings and many other various design-build retaining wall systems. The Project Coordinator role will support Sargons Commercial division in all areas of operations including financial reporting, procurement, documentation, and timecard processing. This position will work directly with the Project Manager(s), Project Coordinator(s), and Field Supervision in supporting all construction phases of awarded projects. This position reports directly to the Commercial Project Manager and will work closely with all Sargon departments. Primary Scope Responsible For: • Project Administration, • Maintain a working knowledge of contracts with clients and subcontracts with trade partners, • Assist in the implementation of safety policies and company procedures, • Adhere to project schedules and timelines to achieve the successful execution of the project, • Act as a liaison between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients, • Monitor and track project budgets, expenses, and invoicing, • Follow up on project related communications to ensure timely responses, • Procurement & Logistics, • Review material quotes and expedite long lead items, • Manage material and equipment orders, ensuring the timely delivery to job sites, • Schedule subcontractor work and ensure subcontractors are ready and on schedule, • Maintain purchase order logs, • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or delays, • Reporting & Documentation, • Monitor daily field reports that are submitted online and include employee time, manpower, production, job site photos, and additional notes, • Update necessary documents online for field access and utilization, • Run financial and efficiency reports on active jobs for superintendents and project managers, • Produce project related documents for clients at their request, • Payroll & Employee Relations, • Review field employees timesheets weekly items under review include but are not limited to employee codes, pay rate, days worked, job numbers, sick time, holiday pay and piece rates, • Submit paperwork pertaining to individual employees, such as disciplinary and separation forms, time off requests, pay rate changes, etc. in a timely manner, • Participate in organizing meetings and events held for employees throughout the year To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: • 3-5 years relevant experience preferred with at least 1-2 of those years in construction, • Must have integrity and the ability to discuss issues openly and honestly with your team and clients, • Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills, • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, ability to deliver high-quality, time-sensitive work, • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels throughout the organization, • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, • Strong written and verbal presentation skills, • Must be able to demonstrate confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive and, in some cases, protected employee and company data and/or information, • Strong drive for results in a high growth environment, • To uphold the Sargon Core Values of Safety, Accountability, Hardwork, Integrity, and Respect, • Bilingual required Sargon Masonry Construction offers competitive compensation based on experience and skill level. This is full-time role annual compensation with performance-based bonus structure, depending on candidates qualifications.
