Job DescriptionBenefits: • Holiday Pay, • Pension, • 401(k), • Flexible schedule, • Health insurance, • Paid time off Key Responsibilities • Clinical Oversight & Resident Care, • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents to determine individualized service plans., • Ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and applicable state laws., • Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and outside care providers., • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and quality assurance measures., • Supervision & Leadership, • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate performance of staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and unlicensed personnel., • Ensure compliance with medication administration requirements and documentation., • Respond to on-call responsibilities and clinical emergencies as needed., • Regulatory Compliance, • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with Minnesota Assisted Living Licensure requirements (Minn. Stat. 144G), DHS, MDH, and Board of Nursing regulations., • Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections., • Maintain proper documentation in accordance with state and organizational policies., • Report incidents, accidents, and adverse outcomes per MN reporting requirements and company procedures., • Team Collaboration & Communication, • Collaborate with facility leadership to coordinate interdisciplinary care., • Serve as a liaison between nursing services and residents, families, and staff., • Promote a positive, resident-centered care environment., • Participate in care conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions.Candidate Requirements, • Required:, • Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of Minnesota., • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, • Experience supervising nursing or direct care staff., • Knowledge of Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and Assisted Living Licensure regulations (Minn. Stat. 144G)., • Valid drivers license, • First aid/CPR certification required, • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills, • Preferred:, • Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN)., • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and care documentation systems.Work Environment, • 20 hours/bi-week for Assisted Living residents, • 10 hours/bi-weekly for ICS residents, • Must be able to work flexible hours/on-call including occasional weekends or holidays.
