As the Master Scheduler & Production Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules by analyzing and optimizing resources and ensuring proper workflow through each operational modality. The team is looking for someone to create efficiencies based on manufacturing capabilities along with run strategies that result in meeting or exceeding customer requirements. You'll work closely with supply chain and operations to coordinate delivery of raw materials to maximize on-time delivery.Responsibilities Include: • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in accordance with manufacturing plans and manage updates to the production plan., • Create and manage planning meetings with all manufacturing functional groups for alignment and asset allocation., • Partner with Supply Chain and work with ERP tools to ensure raw material resupply requirements are met without interruption., • Understand current and future capacity/supply/equipment constraints, including planned & unplanned downtime, affecting production by engaging stakeholders throughout the planning process and lead the development of recovery plans., • Communicate risks & gaps of current production plans to appropriate stakeholders and develop service, inventory, & tradeoff scenarios by using a planning toolkit to reduce said risks & gaps., • Immerse yourself and collaborate with all functional departments by attending meetings, analyzing various reports, and understanding current priorities to ensure the production facility is supporting our current enterprise goals while reducing production delays or product backorders., • Develop and analyze forecast performance reports that drive actions on optimization and efficiencies of the production process.About You:, • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, industrial engineering/operations research or another quantitative field (preferred), or equivalent experience., • Demonstrated 5+ years in production planning for a high volume and complex production process., • Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred., • Carry a continuous improvement & data-driven mindset. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred., • Strong communication skills needed to collaborate with stakeholders with flexibility and drive decisions., • Great organizational, analytical, and project management skills (role requires juggling long-term projects, daily tasks, and urgent questions)., • Ability to independently solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Who You'll Work With:, • This role will partner with every function in the company! About This Job: UPSIDE Foods is growing and entering an exciting new period of its history around scaling up our operations as we enter into commercialization. As the Sr Technical Accountant, you'll be the resident expert in technical accounting research and play a critical contributor role during the audit. The position involves researching and interpreting accounting literature, developing technical accounting memos, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of U.S. GAAP and delivery of high-quality financial reporting. This role reports into the General Accounting Manager, and works alongside a collaborative team of accounting, finance, and ERP professionals. Responsibilities Include: • Lead the technical accounting analysis for any complex, unusual, and/or significant transactions and provide technical accounting guidance across all functions, ensuring compliance with applicable U.S. GAAP and disclosure requirements, • Research and interpret U.S. GAAP to develop and present clear accounting positions to management and participate in discussions with external auditors, • Drive audit readiness by preparing high-quality technical memorandums to support positions, changes, or highly complex accounting topics (e.g. share-based compensation, leases, intangibles), • Assist in preparation of the financial statements and various footnotes, including the statement of cash flows, • Track and assess new ASC disclosure requirements and make updates accordingly, • Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure ongoing alignment with evolving business operations and U.S. GAAP requirements, • Propose journal entries and support General Accounting Manager with preliminary reviews for other accounting teammates at month end close, • Own designated month end close responsibilities for other general areas of accounting, • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance reporting timelines, accuracy, and automation across the close and reporting process, • 5+ years of relevant work experience including two years in public accounting, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with experience researching and applying FASB ASC guidance and evaluating Big 4 firm interpretations, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear recommendations, • Excellent communication and documentation skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, • Experience with ERP required, Microsoft Business Central a plus, • Technical accounting experience with CPG a plus, • CPA, Chartered Accountant, and/or Big 4 Audit Experience a bonus, • Stock options for all full-time incoming team members!, • 83-100% employer-paid healthcare premiums for team members (medical [including HSA and FSA], dental, and vision), • Pet insurance for your furry family members!, • Unlimited PTO
