Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 06/01/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Jun 1, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in a fast-paced Radiology department at a 636-bed, Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Magnet-designated, Primary Stroke Center facility in Milwaukee, WI, • Department includes 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room, • Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges, with some pediatric patients, • Average caseload of 15–20 patients per tech per day, • Fluoroscopy procedures include ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases, • OR cases include ortho, general, and spine procedures; comfort with O-arm preferred, • EMR: Epic; PACS: McKesson; X-ray equipment: GE, Fuji, and Del Medical; C-arms: GE 9900, GE Elites, and Medtronic O-arms, • 5x8-hour night shifts, with start times between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM; some weeks may follow a 4x10-hour schedule, • Schedule follows a Monday–Friday pattern with an every-other-weekend rotation; one day off the week leading into a work weekend and one day off the following week, • One on-call shift per week; call windows are 6:30 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, • No floating to other unitsRequirements, • Minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical Radiology experience required, • Most recent experience must be within the last year, • Active ARRT certification required, • Active WI state license required if applicable, • Current BLS required, • Proficiency in surgical/procedural imaging, general radiography, and portable exams required, • Mid-to-high-level acute care hospital experience required, • Experience with fluoroscopy procedures (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic, urology) required, • OR imaging experience including ortho, general, and spine cases required, • Epic EMR experience required, • At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required for considerationAdditional Information, • First-time travelers may be considered depending on skill level; highly competent surgery and procedural experience is expected, • Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible, • Local candidates are accepted, • Orientation includes a facility-level NEO session followed by 7 days of department-specific training, • Radiologist on site 24/7; department also supported by RT, hospitalist, and intensivist around the clock, • Department staffing includes 14 techs on days, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift; lead tech present on first shift, • One holiday shift required per contract, • RTO requests must be approved by the facility manager, • OR scrubs are provided on-site With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
