This position requires a background in residential renovation. The ideal candidate is an organized, experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage people and processes, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget. What You’ll Do: • Oversee day-to-day project management for residential renovation and remodeling projects, • Coordinate with in-house teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors, • Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, • Communicate clearly with clients and team members throughout each phase of construction, • Proven project management experience in residential remodeling or renovations, • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and scheduling, • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • Must live within commuting distance of Greensboro, NC, or be actively relocating, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation At KC’s, you’ll join a team that values excellence, trust, and growth — where every project is a chance to make a lasting impact. Language: • English (Required) Average Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly + potential bonus Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly with potential for bonus Responsibilities: • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and change orders to ensure adherence to approved designs., • Create and update project schedules regularly to meet deadlines., • Monitor project profitability and provide monthly updates on cost projections., • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns., • Manage and allocate materials, labor, and subcontractors for each project., • Inspect job sites to ensure quality work and compliance with standards., • Proactively solve problems and make decisions to keep projects on track., • Motivate and lead employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve high performance., • Participate in company planning and strategy meetings as needed., • Ability to effectively manage internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers., • Uphold and embody KC’s core values, including quality, honesty, integrity, teamwork, leadership, dependability, and positive communication., • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills., • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously., • Maintain cost control over labor, materials, and equipment., • Stay up to date on industry practices, codes, and standards to drive innovation and efficiency., • Maintain a high level of communication with clients, trade partners, and team members., • Strong leadership ability.Qualifications:, • 3+ years of proven success in residential construction project management specific to renovations., • 5+ years of construction experience required., • In-depth knowledge of construction practices, processes, codes, and standards., • In-depth knowledge of NC Building Codes., • Valid Driver’s License, dependable vehicle, and auto insurance., • Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful Permanent Resident., • High level of attention to detail and customer service focus., • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (a construction/engineering degree is a plus but not required)., • Ability to effectively delegate and manage teams., • Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to learn Construction Management Software., • Must be within commutable distance of our office.About Company Mission To deliver high-quality, design-build renovation solutions that enhance the way clients live and work through expert planning, skilled craftsmanship, and a commitment to clear communication from concept to completion.
