Position Overview Global Citizen seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Senior Director, Global Corporate Partnerships, a role at the forefront of driving creative, high-impact collaborations with the worlds leading brands. This individual will oversee a portfolio of at least three flagship partnerships. Partner deliverables include events, broadcasts, co-branded Global Citizen action journeys (content, actions, rewards), digital, marketing, employee engagement, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives with major global brands. A natural collaborator and relationship builder, you will work closely with internal teams including Policy, PR, Marketing, Editorial, Digital, Talent, Legal, and Production, as well as the Office of the CEO, to ensure every partnership delivers exceptional value and measurable impact. As Senior Director, you will establish and execute clear delivery plans, ensuring world-class execution across your portfolio of partnerships. You will also be responsible for the renewal of the partnerships that you lead and manage. This role requires a leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. You should be adept at managing campaign goals and shifting global priorities with creativity, focus, and resilience. The successful candidate will have deep experience in partnership management, brand marketing, and digital media, with a strong understanding of CSR and ESG integration. You will be expected to develop and apply creative solutions, refine project management tools, and oversee campaigns that span the entire year, culminating in peak activations around the Global Citizen Festival, Global Citizen NOW, and additional tentpole events and campaigns. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Leadership: 75% * • Lead a portfolio of flagship global corporate partnerships, overseeing all aspects of strategy, delivery, and growth., • Partner with brands to co-create breakthrough ideas and campaigns that authentically connect their purpose to Global Citizens mission through storytelling, digital engagement, and live moments., • Oversee integration of partners across Global Citizens global event portfolio, including but not limited to the Global Citizen Festival, Global Citizen NOW, Move Afrika, and regional campaigns, ensuring cohesive brand presence and measurable impact., • Build and maintain trusted senior-level relationships with partner executives, providing strategic counsel and visionary leadership., • Develop and manage annual partnership plans, project timelines, and budgets., • Oversee impact measurement and reporting, demonstrating social, business, and cultural outcomes., • Represent Global Citizen externally at events, summits, and executive partner meetings., • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to advance partnership objectives (estimated 10% travel). Strategic Oversight: 25% * • Collaborate with the Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships and senior leadership team to refine and execute Global Citizens corporate partnership strategy., • Partner cross-functionally with Policy, Marketing, Digital, PR, Talent, and Production teams to ensure seamless, high-impact delivery across all channels., • Develop and refine internal systems and tools that drive operational efficiency and partnership excellence., • Contribute to new business and partnership renewal strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation., • Serve as a visible ambassador for Global Citizen at major global convenings, championing the role of private-sector collaboration in driving systemic change. Experience & Qualifications * • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred., • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience managing major brand or corporate partnerships within the agency, entertainment, nonprofit, or corporate sectors., • Proven track record of developing, growing, and renewing high-value partnerships with global brands., • Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects., • Strong understanding of marketing, digital engagement, and CSR/ESG integration.
