Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse WorkerJob Description The Warehouse Worker receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items within a stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This role ensures inventory is accurately recorded, properly labeled, and stored in an organized and accessible manner while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Responsibilities • Receive incoming stock items, verify quantities, and accurately record data manually or using a computer system., • Count and track inventory on a regular basis, compare physical counts to inventory records, and investigate or correct any discrepancies., • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards., • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas., • Label and mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to ensure clear identification., • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards., • Keep detailed records of stock usage, damage, and the handling of stock or stock handling equipment., • Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage and promptly report any issues to supervisors., • Provide assistance and direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers as needed., • Determine appropriate storage methods, identification, and stock locations based on turnover rates, environmental factors, and facility capabilities., • Perform packing, shipping, and receiving tasks to support efficient warehouse operations., • Adapt to changing priorities and workflows in a fast-paced warehouse environment., • Complete repetitive tasks with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.Essential Skills, • Strong verbal and written communication skills to document inventory and interact effectively with team members., • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues., • Ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining a high level of detail orientation., • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies that support effective security operations and protection of people, data, property, and facilities., • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with cart assistance, following safe lifting practices., • Ability to stand for 8 or more hours during a shift., • Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday to handle and store materials., • Basic computer skills to enter, update, and retrieve inventory and shipping information., • Ability to adapt to changes within a fast-paced environment., • Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy and quality.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma or GED required., • 5–7 years of experience working in a warehouse, stockroom, shipping, receiving, or similar environment., • Experience with packing, shipping, and receiving processes., • Familiarity with inventory management practices and stock control procedures., • Comfort working with labeling tools and basic warehouse equipment.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse setting that involves regular standing, walking, lifting, bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching throughout the day. You will work with standard warehouse equipment, labeling tools, and basic computer systems to manage inventory and shipping activities. The schedule requires availability Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., including the ability to close at least one evening per week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. A defined schedule will be provided upon onboarding. The environment is fast-paced and safety-focused, with clean and organized storage areas maintained in accordance with safety regulations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frisco, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
