Job Description Position Summary: Legacy Christian Academy is seeking "as needed" support for our Security Team. The ideal candidate must be a Level III Commissioned Security Officer to provide additional security personnel when needed, ensuring the safety and security of students and staff. Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background and reference check., • Highly proficient in the use of handguns, • Working knowledge of Texas DPS private security board rules and regulations., • Working knowledge of DPS PSB Force Continuum., • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others., • Ability to read and follow instructions and operate independently., • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written., • Basic computer skills., • Accuracy, integrity, trustworthiness and professionalism, • Ability to work under stressful circumstances., • Ability to exhibit prompt, reliable and sustainable attendance. High School Diploma, Police Academy or Military training preferred. Five to seven years' experience. Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy.
