We operate five branch locations in Baldwinsville, Liverpool, North Syracuse, Bridgeport, and Manlius, and take pride in offering a workplace culture grounded in our core values: • Driven Towards Success, • Team Oriented, • Customer First Job Summary: The Digital Banking Team Leader oversees the Digital Banking team and supports the bank's Retail and Business Online Banking platforms, including Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, P2P transactions, and Debit Card services. This role is responsible for leading and guiding Digital Banking staff while performing research, troubleshooting, transaction tracking, and reconciliation reporting. The team leader delivers exceptional customer service, proactively resolves issues, and collaborates across departments and with vendors to ensure smooth operations, team alignment, and continuous process improvement. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties as assigned) • Develop deep expertise in the bank's Retail and Business Online Banking platforms, including Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, P2P transactions, and Debit Card services., • Perform research, data entry, system maintenance, transaction tracking, troubleshooting, and reconciliation reporting to support digital banking operations., • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers, identifying needs and making appropriate referrals across departments., • Proactively resolve issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams or vendors when necessary., • Respond to customer and colleague inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and accuracy., • Collaborate with multiple departments and vendors to address system-related issues and ensure timely resolution., • Cross-train in other operational areas and provide backup support as needed., • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement, always keeping the customer experience at the forefront., • Process incoming mail, including deposits and payments, and review essential reports such as address changes and account updates. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position provides leadership to Digital Banking staff by overseeing daily activities, training and coaching employees, and reviewing work performance. Responsibilities include hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, salary and promotion considerations, and administering disciplinary actions as needed to ensure effective performance and compliance with Bank standards. Required Experience and Education: • High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications in banking or technology are a plus., • 2–5 years of related experience preferred, but not required, • Strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant, professional demeanor for customer interactions., • Ability to present a professional image in all communications and settings., • A collaborative team player who works well with others and contributes to a positive work environment., • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team., • Comfortable using technology to perform daily tasks and support customer needs., • Effective verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information., • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs or short-notice requests. Equipment, Machines and Software Used: • Basic Equipment and Machinery: Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, bookkeeping, and/or data entry. Ability to create spreadsheets, graphics, and reports using standard software applications., • Ability to operate a computer, printer, scanner, copier, facsimile machine, telephone, adding machine, postage meter and calculator., • Computer Software: Ability to utilize Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and banking systems with the willingness to learn new software, as necessary. Physical and Mental Requirements: • While performing the duties of this position, the Digital Banking Specialist is regularly required to, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions., • The physical requirements of this position call for the ability to lift, move, push, pull, or otherwise exert up to 10-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects., • Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing accounting duties, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
