This leader drives daily execution across food quality, team development, customer experience, and profitability while embodying the brands commitment to excellence, hospitality, and consistency. This role requires a hands-on operator who thrives in high-volume environments, understands soul food execution, and can lead teams with discipline, accountability, and heart. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations Management • Oversee all daily restaurant operations including opening, peak service, and closing procedures, • Ensure all food is prepared, held, and served within strict quality and time standards (no product held beyond 24 hours), • Maintain consistency in high-demand items (fried chicken, pork chops, sides) with proper batch cooking and forecasting, • Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance (DATCP standards), • Manage kitchen flow, fryer utilization (4 fryers / 15-piece capacity), and production pacing 2. Financial Performance • Drive store toward annual revenue targets (aligned with AUV goals of $1.5M$1.8M+), • Manage daily sales tracking, labor costs, and food cost (COGS), • Control waste through disciplined prep, portioning (5 oz sides), and nightly disposal processes, • Optimize scheduling to balance labor efficiency with service quality, • Execute local store marketing strategies to drive traffic and ticket growth 3. Team Leadership & Development • Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team (target: 20+ employees), • Lead pre-shift meetings focused on execution, energy, and upselling, • Develop staff through structured training programs (food prep, service, speed of execution), • Enforce accountability through performance management and coaching, • Build a culture aligned with hospitality, urgency, and pride in product 4. Customer Experience (OSAT Focus) • Deliver exceptional guest experiences rooted in hospitality and consistency, • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally, • Drive upselling and combo meal focus to increase average check, • Maintain clean, welcoming dining and service environments, • Monitor online reviews and community feedback 5. Inventory & Supply Chain Management • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory levels for all food and supplies, • Ensure proper storage, rotation (FIFO), and labeling of all products, • Maintain accurate inventory counts and reduce shrinkage, • Coordinate with vendors and leadership on supply needs 6.
