Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Clinic Nurse Specialist to join our growing cardiology team. This role functions as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), delivering high-quality cardiovascular care across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings. The ideal candidate has experience in cardiology or cardiovascular care, with strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and care coordination. Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive cardiology and cardiovascular care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning, • Perform new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and independently manage clinic schedules, • Conduct detailed cardiac assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and interpretation of labs, EKGs, and diagnostic testing, • Function as a Clinic Nurse Specialist by supporting clinic workflow, patient education, care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives, • Participate in hospital rounding, including cardiology consults, H&Ps (History & Physicals), and discharge summaries, • Respond to physician calls/pager coverage while physicians are in procedures, • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation, charting, and dictation, • Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes, • Combination of outpatient cardiology clinic and inpatient hospital rounding, • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional extended hours Why Join Us? • Collaborative and supportive cardiology team environment, • Opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, • Competitive compensation and benefits, • Current, active license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Clinic Nurse Specialist, • Board certification as NP (FNP, AGACNP, or AGNP) or PA-C, CNS, • Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, or acute care preferred, • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnostics, and care planning, • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills As part of our team, you are empowered to work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers, and play an integral role in setting the standard for excellence in patient care.Every team member at OHH plays an integral role in our patients' experience.
