Position Summary Orso Health is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Recruitment Coordinator to lead and optimize patient recruitment efforts across our portfolio of active clinical trials (including asthma, food allergies/peanut allergy, chronic neutropenia, systemic mastocytosis, and others). This role focuses on driving enrollment through proactive outreach, patient education, strategic marketing, and persistent follow-through to convert leads into consented participants. The ideal candidate has proven experience in clinical trial recruitment and a track record of successfully enrolling patients while building effective marketing campaigns tailored to trial needs. This role is non-exempt (hourly) and full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The position is remote 90%, with occasional onsite travel for business needs. A preference for candidates residing in California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, or South Carolina. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies and marketing campaigns for clinical trials, including digital ads, community outreach, physician referrals, social media, print materials, and partnerships with advocacy groups or healthcare providers., • Identify, screen, and engage potential participants through phone calls, emails, in-person events, databases (e.g., CRIO patient traits/pipeline), and referral networks., • Provide clear, empathetic patient education on trial protocols, benefits, risks, inclusion/exclusion criteria, study procedures, and expectations to support informed decision-making., • Manage the full recruitment funnel: initial contact → pre-screening → scheduling → follow-up → enrollment, with strong emphasis on timely, persistent follow-through to minimize drop-offs., • Track recruitment metrics, timelines, and conversion rates; report progress to leadership and adjust strategies to meet enrollment goals., • Collaborate closely with CRCs, Practice Managers, investigators, and referring physicians to maintain positive momentum from referrals and ensure seamless handoffs., • Build and maintain a robust pipeline in CRIO, including patient traits, lead nurturing, and retention tactics., • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with IRB approvals, GCP, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines., • Support additional research operations as needed to support overall trial success. Qualifications & Requirements, • Minimum 2–3 years of direct experience in clinical trial patient recruitment, preferably in a site, CRO, or research network setting., • Proven track record of successfully enrolling patients into clinical trials, with demonstrated ability to follow through from lead identification to consent/enrollment., • Experience building and implementing marketing campaigns for clinical trials (e.g., targeted advertising, community outreach, referral programs, digital/social strategies) to drive patient interest and diversity., • Strong background in patient education and communication, with the ability to explain complex trial information in clear, compassionate, lay-friendly terms., • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, marketing, communications) preferred; equivalent experience considered., • Proficiency with clinical trial management systems (e.g., CRIO, CTMS) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace., • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and follow-up skills; self-motivated with a positive, persistent attitude., • Knowledge of GCP, IRB processes, and patient privacy regulations (HIPAA)., • Ability to travel occasionally for community events or site support if needed. Preferred Qualifications, • Experience in pediatric, allergy, immunology, or specialty trial recruitment., • Familiarity with multi-site or network-based research environments. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic, if applicable, for extended periods; occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs., bend, stoop, or reach as needed. Frequent use of hands and fingers for patient care and equipment operation. Must have normal (or corrected) vision and hearing and be able to respond quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment, if applicable.
