Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Managed Care Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Syracuse, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting administrative and scheduling tasks within our healthcare organization. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and schedule enrollment assessments for Assessment RNs, ensuring timely and accurate arrangements., • Manage outgoing mail processes, including Patient Centered Service Plans, enrollment packets, and member notification letters., • Maintain and update schedules for clinical staff, ensuring accuracy and addressing scheduling concerns., • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external members, resolving inquiries and escalating issues as needed., • Collaborate with supervisory staff to address scheduling challenges and improve operational efficiency., • Generate and manage reports as directed, contributing to data accuracy and organizational effectiveness., • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuous quality enhancement activities., • Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, typing, copying, faxing, and message handling., • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives., • High school diploma required; an Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred., • At least two years of experience in the healthcare industry with HIPPA experience, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy., • Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks., • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address operational challenges., • Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry standards., • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate documentation.
