Job DescriptionChemistry Laboratory Technician Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | Day Shift Job Overview US Cannalytics is seeking a detail-oriented Chemistry Laboratory Technician to support our Pennsylvania medical marijuana testing laboratory. This position is responsible for sample preparation, laboratory testing support, and accurate documentation in a highly regulated, ISO-aligned environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven laboratory and demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to maintain compliance with state regulations and quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Perform sample preparation and handling of cannabis and cannabis products across multiple matrices, • Accurately measure and document sample weights, volumes, and chain-of-custody data, • Follow organizational policies and procedures for laboratory operations and comply with all state-specified rules and regulations for cannabis licenses, cannabis transport and cannabis testing, as applicable., • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure accurate and compliant recordkeeping, • Utilize LIMS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting, • Assist with sample intake, accessioning, and non-analytical testing (moisture content, water activity, foreign material), • Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards in accordance with laboratory procedures, • Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, • Perform daily instrument performance checks and assist with basic troubleshooting, • Support analytical testing and initial data review under supervision of a Laboratory Chemist, • Maintain laboratory inventory of reagents, standards, and consumables, • Assist with method validation, verification, and proficiency testing activities, • Perform additional duties as assigned by laboratory managementRequired Qualifications, • Must be 21 years of age or older, • Valid driver's license, • Must pass a criminal background check, • High school diploma or equivalent, • 2+ years of laboratory experience, OR, • 1+ year of laboratory experience plus successful completion of a skills assessment, • Demonstrated proficiency in Laboratory Assistant responsibilities, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to follow SOPs and work in a regulated laboratory environmentPreferred Qualifications, • Experience in cannabis, pharmaceutical, environmental, or food testing laboratories, • Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, including:, • HPLC, • LC-MS/MS, • GC-MS, • ICP-MS, • Experience with LIMSWork Environment, • Fast-paced, production-driven laboratory setting, • Continuous video and audio surveillance in accordance with state regulations, • Required use of PPE (lab coat, gloves, eye protection), • Exposure to chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and laboratory equipmentPhysical Requirements, • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and use of hands, • Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed, • Strong visual acuity, including close vision and color differentiation, • Ability to maintain focus and produce accurate work consistentlyBenefits, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Paid Time Off
