Job DescriptionSalary: Job Title: Clinic Technician Location: ClearSight Center, Oklahoma City, OK Job Description: The Clinic Technician supports the clinic team in delivering exceptional patient care by performing diagnostic testing, surgical and laser procedure assistance, patient education, and equipment management to provide a seamless vision correction experience. This role ensures patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit while assisting providers with accurate data collection, documentation, and treatment preparation. Key Responsibilities: Supports: • Provides friendly, professional interactions to ensure patient comfort and confidence throughout the clinic visit., • Performs multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and prioritization., • Obtains and documents patient medical history, allergies, medications, and surgical history into EHR systems., • Enters patient information quickly and accurately into electronic health records and practice management systems., • Coordinates scheduling, billing codes, referrals, pharmacy communications, and prescription refill requests as needed., • Performs and records accurate diagnostic testing including visual acuity, tonometry, OCT, pachymetry, lensometry, visual fields, A-scans, and fundus imaging., • Assists providers with minor procedures, drop instillation, sterile field preparation, and intraoperative support as directed., • Cleans, sterilizes, calibrates, and maintains ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic devices; monitors stock and supplies for clinic readiness., • Maintains current knowledge of ophthalmic procedures, technologies, and clinic protocols to support quality care., • Remains current on relevant issues, practices, laws, policies, and procedures., • Works closely with team members to maintain patient flow, clinic efficiency, and cross-functional support. Required: • Travel to other locations for training or meetings as required., • Adhere to the company's core values and serve a culture of service., • Take charge of patient care tasks and responsibilities with a calm and composed demeanor., • Delegate or prioritize tasks effectively to meet workflow needs., • Promote and participate in ongoing education and training., • Communicate effectively with all team members, patients, and providers., • Ability to work and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced clinic environment., • Commit to participating in strategic initiatives and special projects as needed., • Complete relevant department certifications within designated timeframe., • Complete and maintain CPR certification., • Complete and comply with all OSHA and HIPPA certifications., • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required., • Experience: Prior ophthalmic or clinic experience preferred but not required; all training provided., • Strong computer and organizational skills including intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive or similar cloud-based file management systems., • Excellent in-person communication skills., • Ability to learn quickly, perform diagnostic testing accurately, and assist in procedures., • Values Alignment: Demonstrated commitment to core values Be Precise, Honor Each Person, Reach for Remarkable, and Stay Humble.
