Job Description Description Customer Service Representative – Enfield, CTJob Overview The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting daily operations by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues with professionalism and accuracy. This is a fully in‑office position based in Enfield, CT, with no remote work options. Responsibilities • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer requests, • Provide detailed service information and resolve inquiries, • Research and address customer concerns using internal computer systems, • Follow up on issues that require additional investigation, • Review and resolve billing questions and payment discrepancies, • Transfer calls to the appropriate internal staff when needed, • Maintain accurate call logs, reports, and documentation, • Process customer orders and promote available services, • Identify recurring issues and report trends to supervisors, • Recommend process improvements to enhance customer experience, • Assist in training and onboarding new customer service staff, • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance, • Perform additional duties based on evolving business needsRequired Skills & Experience, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Excellent typing and data‑entry ability, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment, • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, • Ability to learn and work within customer service software systems, • 1–3 years of office or customer service experiencePreferred Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Experience in customer service within service‑based, logistics, industrial, or refuse‑related industries (preferred but not required), • Basic math, reading, and writing skillsWork Environment, • On‑site role in a newly renovated office located in Enfield, CT, • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, • Family‑oriented, collaborative work culture, • Strong benefits package with bonus potential This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enfield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
