Summary: Make phone sales calls to current and prospective customers to sell food equipment and operational supplies. Analyze market, sales and promotional trends to help inform new marketing ideas/campaigns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Engage in a wide array of tasks, including lead generation, customer research, and market analysis., • Document all calls in the CRM/ERP system., • Communicate with the sales teams (processing, packaging, and labeling) on potential leads., • Attend weekly sales meetings., • Provide assistance before, during and after UltraSource Academy, our onsite customer training program., • Liaise with customers, vendors and suppliers on behalf UltraSource managers., • Observing and carrying out sales process., • Assisting in developing sales materials and contributing to marketing campaigns., • Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on either business, sales, entrepreneurship, or one year of related experience., • CRM software experience preferred., • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook., • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people across teams, levels and geographies., • Excellent verbal communication skills, especially on the phone during sales calls., • Must have a strong desire for sales and customer service., • Demonstrates a proactive mindset, taking initiative and driving tasks forward independently. Must be able to fulfill all essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to assemble, measure, or manipulate parts; and communicate verbally and electronically. The employee is frequently required to walk short distances between buildings, meeting rooms and production areas. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
