The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Aronimink Golf Club's Belmont facility is responsible for supporting the daily oversight and execution of our year-round casual dining experience. This role assists in managing all Belmont food and beverage outlets, including the upstairs dining room and bar, snack window, pool bar, and poolside dining operations, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience for members and their guests. Working closely with the Belmont Restaurant Manager and Clubhouse leadership, the Assistant Manager ensures clear communication, strong floor presence, and effective execution of daily service. This position plays a hands-on role in leading the team, supporting service, and maintaining operational flow across all Belmont dining areas. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is instrumental in upholding Aronimink's service standards by ensuring excellence in service, presentation, and overall experience. This role reinforces the Aronimink brand and the ONEAGC culture, creating a welcoming, energetic, and high-quality environment that reflects the unique atmosphere of Belmont. The Club's facilities offer golf, trapshooting, a pool facility, a racquet facility and several dining outlets. The Club has a Golf Performance Center, where its members can partake in golf lessons with access to the driving range. The Club is in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and is about thirty minutes from downtown Philadelphia. In May 2026, Aronimink will serve as the host venue for the 108th PGA Championship. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure the Belmont delivers a fun, family-friendly, and high-quality environment consistent with Aronimink standards., • Serve as Manager-on-Duty as assigned, overseeing service flow, staffing, and member experience., • Monitor service standards, presentation, cleanliness, and organization across all areas., • Respond to member feedback in real time and ensure service recovery is handled professionally and promptly., • Supervise, support, and coach Belmont service staff, including snack bar and pool bar team members., • Assist with training new hires and reinforcing Aronimink service standards and expectations., • Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable team environment aligned with ONEAGC values., • Lead by example through professionalism, visibility, and hands-on involvement., • Assist with daily staffing plans to ensure proper coverage based on business levels and weather., • Monitor labor efficiency while maintaining service standards., • Assist with timekeeping records., • Monitor safety, sanitation, and health compliance standards., • Assist with opening and closing procedures., • Support inventory control, product organization, and supply readiness., • Maintain clear and consistent communication with F&B leadership and Belmont management., • Partner with culinary leadership to ensure efficient service execution., • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred., • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a club or upscale restaurant or private club setting., • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to adapt and anticipate service outcomes., • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office., • Knowledge of food and beverage trends and a passion for hospitality experience., • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining service standards is highly preferred., • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays., • Must be at least 18 years old, • High School Diploma or Equivalent, • Ability to work early morning and weekends as required Supervises: Servers, Cocktail Servers, Bartenders, Server Assistants, Snack Window Attendants, Food Runners, Interns BENEFITS • Highly competitive wages, • 401K plan with company matching after 1 year, • Paid vacation and holidays, • Single or Family Health, Dental and Vision Insurance after 90 days, • Club-provided uniforms, • Education and CMAA Membership, • Lunch/Dinner provided on shift Job Posted by ApplicantPro
