Job Description Summary/Objective: The Construction Technology & IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and training to Team Members across the organization. This includes managing devices, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining access to core systems, training Team Members on software usage, and supporting the company’s implementation of AI tools. The role is primarily office-based, with occasional jobsite visits as needed. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to support a diverse workforce. Technical Support and System Access • Configure and deploy devices, including computers, iPads, iPhones, and peripherals., • Provide front-line support for issues related to hardware, login credentials, network access, and Microsoft 365 applications., • Troubleshoot basic network and printing issues; escalate to external IT support as necessary based on time and complexity., • Maintain user accounts and permissions in systems such as HCSS, Microsoft 365, and others., • Track and manage assignment of devices and system access for all Team Members., • Deliver 1-on-1 and small group training sessions to new and existing Team Members., • Train Team Members on use of key systems including:, • HCSS (Field, Dispatcher, Safety, Equipment360, HeavyJob, etc.), • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), • Bluebeam Revu, • Trimble and related tools, • Other applications as assigned, • Provide verbal training and technical assistance in both English and Spanish., • Translate documentation, training materials, and support resources into Spanish when needed., • Assist in identifying opportunities to utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity., • Support the implementation, configuration, and rollout of AI-driven solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, AI features in construction software, or chatbot tools)., • Provide internal training on AI tools and document practical usage guidelines for Team Members., • Travel to jobsites when remote or office-based support is not sufficient., • Provide on-site assistance with device setup, system access, or training when required., • Monitor and report recurring support issues to HR or leadership when necessary., • Provide insight into user training needs and support trends based on direct interactions. Qualifications: Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or related field., • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in IT support, user training, or a related role., • Proficiency with device setup and basic troubleshooting (computers, mobile devices, printers, Wi-Fi)., • Experience with Microsoft 365, HCSS platforms, Bluebeam, and Trimble tools., • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)., • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed., • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support multiple teams effectively.
