Job Description As an Associate Financial Advisor, you'll serve as a conduit between client relationships and the firm. You'll be called upon to provide a wide range of sales, service, and relationship management support to our firm. Potential upside for correct applicant is tremendous. Firm has client relationships which would be shared with Associate Financial Advisor and cultivated/managed further. Upside potential via continued collective asset growth, new client acquisition, and external financial advisor recruiting. You are providing the highest level of customer service to sophisticated and valued clients. Through frequent communication and teamwork, you are a key player on the team as you directly support the Managing Partner’s efforts to increase and develop the business. Stelvio Private Wealth has offices in Greenwich, CT and the Bay Area, CA and touts private clients in 42 states. It operates through Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC (WFAFN), a member of SIPC, and a registered broker-dealer. Education and/or Experience • Industry experience, notably in client-facing and advice-giving roles, • At a minimum, a college/University degree, • Have passed regulatory exams, whether it be the FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 65, FINRA Series 66 and/or industry designations such as the CFP or CPA Exams Description of Role This is a full-time role for an Associate Financial Advisor. The role will take on a Hybrid schedule, with in-office days occurring in Greenwich, CT. This associate will work closely with the Managing Partner and is ideal for someone who is passionate about investment management, retirement and investment planning and is a quick learner. Through that close partnership, the Associate will be responsible for most planning activities, some investment research, analysis, report preparation, and communication, for a select contingent of clients. This associate with have the support of Wealth Planning Associate(s) and administrative support. • Handling inbound calls and emails generated by a book of clients and collaborating on client communications, • Responding to a range of customer needs, to include mutual fund inquiries, asset allocation discussions, brokerage needs, basic tax-free and deferred investments, trust and estate planning, as well as income and retirement planning, • Partnering with the Managing Partner and implementing a structured client contact strategy and encouraging annual reviews, • Seeing opportunities for asset consolidation and/or High Net Worth product development, and other more sophisticated product offerings, • Conducting basic guidance preparation discussions with clients that support the overall strategies developed for the client, • Helping with pre- and post-guidance appointments; making follow-up calls to understand the client meeting objectives and prepare for future appointments, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information, • Exceptional writing, interpersonal and client service skills, • Strong presentation skills; comfortable speaking in front of clients and potential clients, • Proven self-starter with the ability to think and work autonomously, • Effective prioritization capabilities, • Team player willing to help and learn from others, • Excellent written and verbal skills with careful attention to detail, • Strong industry, product, and branch procedures knowledge, • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, • Team player with the ability to collaborate with others, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, • Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven, • Knowledge of financial services products, including but not limited to equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts Qualifications • Previous experience in a wealth management or finance role is required. This is not an entry level position. Prior role is inclusive of a Client Associate / Client Service Associate role for the right candidate., • Being Registered (Series 7, Series 65 or Series 66).
