Job Responsibilities: • Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices, • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, • Assess students learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, • Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment, • Support various administrative tasks and projects around the center, • Communicate student progress with parents and guardiansRequired Qualifications:, • Passion for and great working with kids -- fun, patience, encouragement, empathy, • Team player, • Driven & motivated; desire to lean in and grow within the organization; interest in taking on new projects; seeking promotion to Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, and beyond, • Eagerness to learn and be trained, • Positive attitude; we are looking for outgoing "people people" who value positivity and fun!, • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort speaking with students and parents, • Desire and ability to teach, • Hours availabilityPreferred Qualifications:, • Teaching experience, • Passion for math, • Strong math competency through at least Algebra IAll applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and successfully complete a background check, in accordance with applicable California law.
