Career Team is looking to hire a Workforce Partnership Coordinator to work with employers and clients of the New York Pathways for Access to Careers and Employment Workforce Development Program (PACE). The approach of the PACE Program emphasizes that there is no one-size fits-all solution for clients needing education and or training support. The Workforce Partnership Coordinator is responsible for promoting job-ready PACE clients to the employer community and liaising with employers to obtain job leads and to identify jobs. This includes working closely with Case Managers to ensure that the services reflects clients' needs, abilities and employment goals. Also, the Workforce Partnership Coordinatorwill coach, support and monitor clients in the initial stages of employment and maintain relations with employers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The Workforce Partnership Coordinator is an integral part of our team and will assist us with our mission of accelerating the human condition! Career Team also offers a competitive package including: • 401k with a generous employer match;, • medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employee-sponsored HSA on any qualifying plans;, • disability insurance;, • Perform all business service functions as required to meet performance goals as assigned by the Business Services Manager, • Keep up with changes in the field and have current knowledge of the area job market, • Develop and maintain innovative programming that achieves the highest standards in employment for PACE clients, • Identify and develop job opportunities for a diverse population of PACE clients, • Determine education and skill requirements and employer expectations of job-ready clients, • Interview job-ready clients referred by the Career Team Case Manager for job placement to determine skills, abilities, and job goals, • Match job-ready clients with job openings and refer them to employing organizations for an interview, • Establish an ongoing relationship with job seekers. Follow-up to ensure success in job seeking and job performance to enable job retention, • Request additional and/or targeted support activities as needed for PACE clients, • Maintain job and employer data banks of information, • Maintain employer records related to job opportunities, placement activities, and client job retention, • Utilize internet/social media resources to identify job trends, active sectors, and candidate employers, • Prepare and present reports of activities and accomplishments, • Design, plan, and conduct job fairs and other initiatives to enable exposure of Job Seekers to organizations with current and future job opportunities, • Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset, • Associate degree preferred, or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency in job responsibilities, • 3+ years of experience performing job development or job placement activities, • A demonstrated ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse client base, with the ability to be culturally sensitive, • Experience in job placement in either private or public agencies within the last four years, • Ability to provide excellent client service to at-risk populations and local employer partners, • Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Willingness to uphold company's core values and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employer representatives and Job Seekers, • Multilingual or Bilingual preferred Travel: Position may require local travel up to 30% of the time Job Type: Full-Time, non-exempt About Career TEAM: Founded in 1996, Career TEAM, LLC is a private workforce development organization.
