We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next generation of Relativity aiR, the AI platform for legal data intelligence. This role is for a strategic designer who is also a builder, comfortable taking an idea from sketch to working, production-quality code with AI. UX designer,

About Us: Engineering teams now run many coding agents at once, and all of that work eventually has to come together. We're building a merge queue for that world. It works out how changes across pull requests actually interact, sends agents to resolve these conflicts, and prepares each PR against the code that main is about to become. Teams keep their agents, their Git workflow, and their required checks and reviews, and we coordinate everything in between. We're early, in stealth, and working closely with our first users and design partners. You'll shape how the product looks, works, and explains itself from the ground up. We'll share more about the company once we're in conversation. The Role: As our founding designer, you'll set the design direction for the company and own it across three connected surfaces: our product dashboard, our brand, and our website. The product is deeply technical, and your job is to make it easy to use, distinctive, and clearly valuable to the developers evaluating it. You'll define how we design, not just what we design: the tools, systems, and standards that future designers will build on. You'll work directly with the founders and engineering from early exploration through shipped product. Coding experience is not required. What you'll do: • Design the product dashboard building ontop of our existing design system. You'll cover every state, including loading, empty, error, and permission states., • Turn complex developer workflows into clear navigation, onboarding, and task flows., • Develop our brand identity: the logo system, typography, color palette, iconography, illustration style, and visual guidelines, applied consistently across the product and website., • Design our marketing website, including the homepage, product pages, comparison pages, pricing, and campaign landing pages. Each page should be built around a clear value proposition, product demonstrations, proof, answers to objections, and a relevant call to action., • Make technical ideas visible. Create diagrams and explainers that show technical concepts in an understandable and intuitive manner., • Build and maintain a design system of tokens, components, variants, and guidelines that keeps the dashboard, website, and brand consistent., • Create prototypes that communicate behavior, navigation, feedback, and transitions, not just static screens., • Talk with users and design partners, identify usability problems, and iterate based on what you learn., • Hand off organized source files, assets, and interaction specs, and review the built result with engineers., • Propose and evaluate experiments that improve signups, onboarding, and activation. What we're looking for: • Excellent visual craft, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, composition, color, and attention to detail., • Demonstrated experience designing dense application or dashboard interfaces, with clear UX reasoning behind your decisions., • Experience creating or extending a brand identity across multiple surfaces., • Experience designing marketing websites, ideally for a technical audience, with an understanding of conversion-focused page structure., • An understanding of how developers evaluate tools, and the ability to explain technical concepts through page structure, visuals, headlines, and concise interface copy., • Experience building design systems., • A habit of designing for responsiveness and accessibility, including contrast, keyboard interaction, focus states, and reduced-motion preferences., • Comfort taking an ambiguous brief from exploration to polished deliverable, setting priorities, and communicating tradeoffs. Nice to have: • Motion design skills, including timing, easing, transitions, animated diagrams, and product walkthroughs., • Rive experience, especially interactive animations built with state machines and inputs., • Technical illustration., • AI-assisted creative workflows for exploration, asset creation, and rapid prototyping, without sacrificing visual consistency., • Working coded prototypes of interactions or visual effects. Production code is not expected., • 3D, procedural graphics, or an interest in real-time web graphics such as WebGPU and shaders., • Experience at a developer-tool, infrastructure, or technical SaaS company., • Evidence of improving a meaningful product outcome, such as signups or onboarding completion. If you're excited about this role but don't match every point, we'd still like to hear from you. Tools: We use Figma as our primary tool. We also use Illustrator or an equivalent for vector and brand work, WebGPU for interactive motion, and After Effects or an equivalent for motion graphics. AI design and prototyping tools are part of our workflow too. Equivalent tools and workflows are welcome. Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $250,000 per year. This is our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay at the time of posting. Where an offer falls in the range depends on job-related factors, such as the depth and relevance of your experience and skills. Equal Opportunity: We are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of any status protected by federal, New York State, or New York City law. That includes actual or perceived race, color, religion or creed, national origin, sex, gender (including gender identity and expression), sexual orientation, age, disability, pregnancy, sexual and reproductive health decisions, marital or partnership status, familial status, caregiver status, immigration or citizenship status, military or veteran status, genetic information or predisposing genetic characteristics, height, weight, arrest or conviction record, credit history, salary history, unemployment status, or status as a victim of domestic violence, sex offenses, or stalking. We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with the New York City Fair Chance Act and New York State law.

Role Overview As HASS Cloud grows, we're adding an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to the team as an in-house subject matter expert. You'll be the end-user's voice inside the company. Developers will come to you when they need to know how a system gets laid out, calculated and reviewed on a real project. Customers and our sales engineering team will come to you when a question goes past what the software does and into how the design should work. About half your time goes to product development. The rest is split evenly between sales and marketing support and customer support and training. This is a full-time, remote position. Core Responsibilities Product development (about 50%) • Turn sprinkler design workflows into clear requirements the development team can build from, covering how designers and engineers lay out systems, run calculations and prepare submittals., • Work with the product design team on UI/UX, helping design and review screens, workflows and interactions., • Check HASS Cloud features against NFPA 13, test calculations and real project data before features ship., • Test new releases the way a user would, and report what's wrong, what's confusing and what's missing., • Help collect feedback from customers and the field and turn it into specific product recommendations. Sales and marketing support (about 25%) • Join technical demonstrations and sales calls when a prospect needs an engineer's answer, and help the sales team handle questions about hydraulics, standards and design practice., • Review HASS Cloud marketing material (ads, emails, website pages and feature announcements) for technical accuracy., • Advise marketing on which features and use cases matter most to engineers and designers, and how to explain them., • Represent HRS Systems at conferences and industry events. Customer support and training (about 25%) • Handle escalated technical questions, especially ones about calculation results or system design., • Create training material for HASS Cloud users, including tutorials, how-to guides, example projects, videos and webinars., • Write and maintain help documentation that matches how designers and engineers use the software day to day., • Escalate software issues to the development team with the detail they need to fix them. Expectations and Standards • Be the engineering check on everything we ship. If a calculation, a workflow or a marketing claim needs improvement, be the first to flag it and offer suggestions., • Think like a product designer as well as an engineer. Bring your own ideas for how the software should work, along with reports of what's broken., • Take work from start to finish, follow up with the development and product teams, and confirm problems are fixed and solutions acceptable., • Stay ahead of the product. Learn new features as they're built, so your training material and advice stay current., • Be present and reachable. Stay responsive to customers and teammates during core business hours., • Hold a high bar for customer-facing work. Training material, demonstrations and documentation should reflect realistic projects and represent HRS professionally. Role Requirements • 5 to 10 years of experience in fire sprinkler system design and other fire protection engineering projects., • Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 13R and NFPA 13D, plus related water-based standards such as NFPA 14, 20, 24 and 25., • A licensed PE is preferred - NICET Level III or IV in Water-Based Systems Layout is a strong alternative., • Hands-on experience performing and/or reviewing hydraulic calculations., • Recent and in-depth experience with common sprinkler design and hydraulic calculation software, including Revit / AutoCAD, and tools such as AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD or HASS Cloud., • An interest in software design and how great tools get built. You don't need prior experience working with developers or product designers, but you should want to., • Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-engineers and presenting live or on camera., • Self-direction: the ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage your own time and priorities., • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, about 10% of the time., • US-based Helpful Background • A degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field., • Experience with HASS or HASS Cloud., • Experience creating training, technical writing or video content. This position supports a U.S. federal government contract requiring U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance. ABOUT THE ROLE iAdeptive Technologies is looking for a Lead Portal Engineer to own a user-facing portal end-to-end — the front-end architecture, the APIs and services behind it, and the human-centered design process that keeps it usable — on a modern, FedRAMP-authorized platform supporting a federal health agency. You are the technical owner of the portal: you architect it, build it, and ensure the people who use it can actually get their work done. This is a lead role for an engineer who cares about the user, not a designer who also codes. You will own the full stack — React front end through APIs and services — and drive the HCD and UX process: framing user research, shaping design direction, and holding the bar on accessibility. A supporting design resource handles detailed design execution; you set the direction and own the outcome. HOW WE WORK Own the Portal End-to-End — You architect and build both the front end and the API layer, so the seams between design, front end, and services are decisions you made on purpose, not gaps nobody owns. Engineer Who Drives Design — You lead the HCD process — user research, design direction, the design system — and partner with a supporting designer for execution. You treat usability as an engineering requirement, not a nice-to-have. Built for Everyone — Accessibility is part of the definition of done. You build to Section 508 and WCAG from the start and treat a portal that excludes users as unfinished. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Own the portal end-to-end — architect and build the React front end and the APIs and services behind it, • Set technical direction and architecture for the portal and make the patterns the team builds against, • Design and build APIs (API-first), service integrations, and the front-end components that consume them, • Drive the human-centered design process — frame user research with agency staff, shape design direction, own the design system — partnering with a supporting designer for execution, • Own accessibility: build to Section 508 / WCAG and validate compliance as part of delivery, • Own quality across the portal stack — automated testing, CI/CD, and performance, • Use AI tooling to move faster while remaining accountable for every line that ships; keep deterministic logic in testable code, • Partner with security, data, and platform teams to ship into a FedRAMP-authorized environment, and mentor engineers WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 8+ years building production web applications, with recent hands-on full-stack delivery and API design, • Strong React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, plus solid back-end experience building services and RESTful APIs, • Demonstrated ownership of a user-facing product end-to-end — front end, APIs, and the experience tying them together, • Real HCD/UX fluency: you have run or closely driven user research, design direction, and a design system, even if a designer handled execution, • Working knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508 / WCAG) and a habit of building to them, • Demonstrated technical leadership while staying hands-on, • A habit of keeping deterministic logic in testable code and using AI tooling as an accelerator, you remain accountable for BONUS POINTS • FedRAMP / NIST 800-53 environments and agency security baselines, • Design tooling (Figma) and building or owning a design system, • Integrating with data platforms or BI/reporting layers (e.g., QuickSight or embedded analytics), • AWS and secure cloud architecture; AI-assisted features (e.g., Amazon Bedrock), • Building accessible, data-rich portals for large user bases WHY iADEPTIVE iAdeptive Technologies is an 8(a) small business building modern data, cloud, and AI systems for federal mission programs. We are engineers first. You will work alongside architects and engineers who write the code they design, ship into FedRAMP-authorized environments, and treat governance and security as part of the build rather than paperwork bolted on at the end. DETAILS • Location: Remote (U.S.); Maryland-area preferred for occasional on-site collaboration, • Employment Type: Full-time, W-2; this position supports a U.S. federal government contract requiring U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance, • Benefits: Health, dental, vision; 401(k) with company contribution; PTO and federal holidays; training and certification support iAdeptive Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Skills field (top 10): Full-Stack Development · React · TypeScript · Node.js · REST API Design · Human-Centered Design · User Experience (UX) · Web Accessibility (Section 508 / WCAG) · CI/CD · Technical Leadership Benefits found in job post 401(k), Medical insurance, Vision insurance, Dental insurance, Tuition assistance Requirements added by the job poster • 5+ years of work experience with Human Centered AI Design, • 8+ years of work experience with React.js, • 5+ years of work experience with REST APIs
