About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated E-Commerce Merchandising Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced online retail environment. This role combines buying support, site merchandising, and product data management to ensure our online product assortment is accurate, visually engaging, and optimized for sales. You’ll play a key role in how our products are presented, discovered, and purchased—helping deliver an exceptional shopping experience to every Shoebacca customer. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our office, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and have the ability to manage and analyze large sets of product data with accuracy and efficiency. Compensation: $19.50 per hour What You’ll Do • Support buying and merchandising functions through assortment planning, vendor coordination, and product setup., • Collect and organize product assets including UPCs, descriptions, attributes, pricing, and images for accurate product listings., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product launches., • Audit website content to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing details., • Analyze product and sales performance data to assist in buying and merchandising decisions., • Maintain product data integrity across internal systems (PIM/ERP) and update listings as needed., • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, sorting and filtering, and PivotTables to manage, verify, and report on product data., • Monitor online merchandising to ensure a visually appealing and accurate shopping experience., • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-Commerce, Merchandising, or related field (preferred).
