Responsibilities of a Food Service Associate: • Welcome all guests with “Welcome to Grab-N-Geaux”, • Learn preparation for all menu items in accordance with Grab-N-Geaux quality standards, • Assists guests with orders by answering menu and recipe related questions, • Cleans/sanitizes work area, wash carts, cleans pots, and pans, and cleans cooking equipment throughout the shift and at the end of the shift, • Prepares food as directed by daily spread sheet, • Maintains a clean as you go work environment, • Work as a team to meet store goals, • Maintains food levels in hot box according to guest flow, • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with the Health Department guidelines, • Execute opening and closing procedures, • Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment, • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients throughout the shift, • Accommodate guests as your priority, • Record food waste on daily waste log, • Must be 18 years or older, • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required, • Previous food handling experience preferred, • Previous customer service experience preferred, • Previous cash handling experience preferred, • Basic math and counting skills required (add, subtract, multiply and divide), • Demonstrate communication skills, both written and verbal, • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, of up to 30-40 lbs., • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, • Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evening, weekends, or holidays, • Complete the Louisiana Vendor Permit Card (Bar Card) before start date Pay: $10-$11 Benefits: • 35% Employee discount [only while clocked in], • Monday-Sunday
