Job DescriptionPosition Description: Aquaspersions is a leading manufacturer and global supplier of high-quality water-based dispersions and emulsions. For over 50 years we have been providing manufacturers and formulators globally with our leading range of dispersions. In 2023 to support our strategy to develop our customer base in the US markets we invested in a new production facility in Broussard, Louisianna. We now require a Production Operator to join the existing production team as we grow our business. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be an important part of the production team, responsible for storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process. To be successful as a Production Operator, you should be professional with strong understanding of mechanical and chemical processes. The ideal candidate will be attentive, knowledgeable and have a desire to work with other production team members to develop best processes and products. What you will do: Ensure that products are made according to exact specifications and that final products meet safety and quality standards. Recording information, such as ingredients, weights, and temperature, and input into the database. Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes. Observing all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations. Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns. Assisting in planning and improving processes and product quality. Working with other team members to complete the production process. Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.What You Need High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with forklifts is required. Understanding of chemical process. Aptitude for mechanics. Basic computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A desire to work with team members to improve processes and product quality in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary. Ability to lift 50lbs or more. Job Description Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Planner II to work closely with our Master Scheduler in coordinating and optimizing manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating strategic plans into actionable daily and weekly production schedules, managing complex material flows, and proactively resolving issues to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
