When you’re off shift, Kansas City, KS 66160 offers easy access to local dining, entertainment, and nearby attractions across the metro area. • Job Title: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiovascular OR Nurse, • Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 (On-Site), • Weekly Estimated Pay: $3000-$3160, • Specialty/Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Perioperative Services, • Start Date: 03/29/2026, • End Date: 06/28/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks (travel RN contract), • Shift: 10-hour day shifts, • Hours per Week: 40, • Weekends: As required in rotation, • On-Call: Approximately 1 weekend per month, • Holidays: Required (must be willing to take call on holidays), • Floating: May float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) as needed, • Experience: 2+ years of recent CVOR experience in a Level I trauma setting, including strong cardiac scrub experience and circulating experience, • License: Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license, • Certification: BLS (AHA), • Practice Readiness: Comfortable supporting complex cardiac cases in an operating room (OR) environment, • Preferred Keywords/Skills: Perioperative nursing, sterile technique, patient safety, OR documentation, • Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and cardiac surgical procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique, • Prepare the OR suite, instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to cardiac cases to support efficient case flow, • Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs, prioritizing patient safety, infection prevention, and accurate counts, • Coordinate with anesthesia, perfusion, surgical team members, and support departments to optimize outcomes, • Provide timely, accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and quality standards, • Participate in call rotation, including weekends/holidays as scheduled GHR Healthcare Job ID #462360.
