The Opportunity 1-800-Packouts seeks a self-motivated and data-focused franchise leader with proven experience marrying strategy and execution through developing solid relationships with franchisees, maintaining industry-leading franchisee satisfaction, and ensuring all team members and franchisees are hyper-focused on meeting company goals. This VP of Franchise Operations will have the unique opportunity to be a leader within 1-800-Packouts and partner with best-in-class Five-Star Franchising and Princeton Equity. 1-800-Packouts is poised for significant rapid growth in the US. This new leader will inspire, motivate, and set clear goals for 1-800-Packouts and their vast franchisee network moving forward. They will work with the team to ensure franchisees achieve their full potential. This position requires working onsite at least four days per week at either our Springville, UT or Fort Worth, TX office. Scope and Responsibilities: The Vice President of Operations will execute the franchising strategy and operational excellence to drive 1-800-Packouts Franchisee performance. This position will be instrumental in developing the franchise operations, policies, and procedures and driving unit-level economics. A primary focus will be placed on developing strong relationships with Franchisees, maintain industry leading Franchisee satisfaction, and ensure all team members and Franchisees are hyper focused on meeting company goals. Specific Responsibilities • Assist the Brand President in the execution of short-term and long-range goals., • Lead the development and implementation of key operational systems for Franchisee success., • Responsible for orchestrating collaboration with Franchise Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT, HR, and Accounting., • Implement procedures and tools to promote communication and adequate information flow between the Home Office and Franchisees., • Establish operating systems consistent with brand policy and objectives and ensure their execution., • Regularly and systematically evaluate the results of overall operations using an established set of KPIs., • Responsible for all training and coaching aspects, including hiring, developing, overseeing, and managing Franchise Business Coaches and support team staff., • Operate under a culture of Five Star DRIVE so everyone understands and executes their responsibilities correctly., • Partner with the Franchise Business Coaches and support team in monitoring the Franchisee’s financial performance and health regularly., • Ensure Franchisee compliance with the annual budget and P&L submission. This includes helping them to develop financial budgets and operating plans on a yearly basis., • Continue to develop Operations and Training manuals, annual road maps, and ongoing training and support provided to franchisees., • This role includes approximately 25–35% travel to support franchise development and attend industry events. Key Selection Criteria • Franchise Expertise: 10+ years of franchisor leadership experience working directly with franchisees. Must have a strong sense of building a best-in-class franchise model to create a cooperative system while driving revenue and profitability., • Operations Experience: Proven success in establishing measurable operational structures, including training, onboarding, compliance, franchise support systems, and performance metrics., • Prior restoration Industry Experience Required: Experience in contents restoration is a plus., • Shared Services: Operates collaboratively & able to leverage relationships within a shared service environment, including Franchise Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, HR, IT, and Accounting., • Influencing Approach: Ability to empower and inspire franchisees by clearly communicating goals and objectives while fostering a best-in-class environment., • Collaboration: Collaborate with franchisees and provide ongoing support and guidance to help franchisor/franchisee exceed targets., • Nimble Player Coach: 10 years’ experience building and leading high performing teams within a franchised business.
