Role Overview As HR Professional at Dardano’s, you will partner closely with store leadership, the corporate team, and operations to develop, implement, and manage HR practices that attract, engage, retain, and develop high-quality retail talent. You will champion a culture of performance, service, and continuous improvement aligned with our core values: reliability, service, inclusivity, curiosity, and care for others. Key Responsibilities • Design, manage and enhance full-cycle recruiting programs for retail sales associates, managers, and corporate staff; ensure candidate pipeline is diverse, talented, and aligned with store needs., • Partner with hiring managers to create compelling job descriptions, job postings (for platforms like ZipRecruiter), screen applicants, conduct structured interviews, and ensure strong candidate experience., • Onboard new hires across locations — ensure a seamless orientation, training hand-off, and integration into our culture., • Develop and maintain performance management systems: set frameworks for goal-setting, feedback cycles, coaching, recognition, and career pathing (especially for retail associates moving into leadership)., • Implement employee engagement initiatives: surveys, focus sessions, action plans that foster our inclusive, service-focused culture., • Lead HR compliance efforts (labor law, wage/hour, record-keeping etc.) for retail operations and corporate staff., • Support managers in conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, terminations, and exit processes, always emphasizing fairness, professionalism, and our value of care for others., • Partner with leadership to design compensation, benefits and reward strategies (including bonuses, spiffs, vendor incentives) that drive performance and retention., • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, hiring time, training effectiveness, engagement scores) and present actionable insights to senior leadership., • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, policies and tools to support scaling multi-channel retail business (in-store, repair, ecommerce). What We’re Looking For • 3-5+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably within retail or high-volume customer-facing operations., • Proven success recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, building talent pipelines and reducing turnover., • Strong business acumen: you understand retail operations, store dynamics, and how HR strategy supports commercial outcomes., • Excellent communication, presentation and coaching skills; you can influence leadership and motivate teams., • Strong analytical mindset: you track HR metrics and turn them into strategic recommendations., • Familiarity with HR systems (ATS, HRIS), performance management, compliance and training program design., • Values alignment: you live by principles of inclusivity, curiosity, service and teamwork., • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment where multiple locations require coordination and follow-through., • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; SPHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus.
