We’re hiring an Application Support Analyst (Technical / Graduate Pathway to Developer) We’re strengthening the technical capability of our Application Support function, and we’re looking for someone early in their career who has a genuine interest in software development. This role is not traditional first-line support. We want someone who can think like a developer, work through technical problems, understand how systems fit together and grow towards a full development role over time. If you enjoy learning, solving problems and working directly with users, this is a strong place to build your career. What you’ll be doing • Investigating and reproducing issues across systems, portals and integrations., • Working through problems logically and identifying the underlying cause., • Reading logs, checking API calls, looking at payloads and narrowing down faults., • Supporting developers by providing clear technical findings., • Helping with release testing, regression testing and validation of fixes., • Carrying out configuration updates, data checks and environment tasks., • Communicating with internal users in a calm, clear and structured way., • Learning Power Platform, Azure services and Dynamics with full support. This is the closest possible role to development without being a full developer on day one. Must have • A technical degree or relevant work experience., • Ability to read and understand basic code, JSON or API responses., • Natural problem-solving ability and a structured approach to diagnosis., • Interest in progressing into a developer role within Power Platform / Azure., • Confidence speaking with users and explaining technical issues simply., • Ability to work full-time from our Meriden office. If you want a purely non-technical support role, this will not be the right fit. Nice to have (not essential) • Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse or Dynamics 365., • Experience using SQL, JavaScript, C#, or any scripting language., • Understanding of cloud platforms, ideally Azure. This role will suit you if you: • Enjoy taking things apart to understand how they work., • Are comfortable working through technical detail., • Want a clear development pathway into engineering., • Like the idea of supporting real systems used across a large organisation., • Are curious, proactive and keen to learn new tools and technologies. What you can expect • A structured path into a full development role (Power Platform, Azure, integrations)., • Direct exposure to how we build, support and scale our products., • Guidance from experienced developers, analysts and testers., • A strong learning environment with real projects and meaningful work., • The chance to shape a modern, growing technical function. This is a great role for someone who wants to start in application support but grow into a developer who understands the platform end-to-end.
