Sales Assistant (Charity Shop)

Jael Christian Women International is an Independent Christian organisation for all Christian women, and women of any other denomination, faith or background. Jael is looking for a dedicated person to support our newly open Christian charity shop in Croydon. The ideal candidate must have an enthusiastic can-do attitude and eyes for details. Must be a good team player in supporting the day-to-day operations of the shop and enjoy working with a diverse group of people. Duties Includes: - Washing, ironing and display goods. - Very confident and effective in using social media platforms to market items and promote sales (update Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) - Ensuring all merchandise is displayed appropriately and the window display is creative and eye catching - Update Jael website when it is needed - Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained Previous experience in Charity retail is desirable COVID-19 considerations: We take the health and hygiene of our staff, volunteers and customers very seriously, following Government and Charity Retail Association guidance and applying practical safeguards as required.
