At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic componentsand wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft. GKN Aerospace are searching qualified fitters to express an interest in working with GKN to operate as multi-skilled, flexible workers to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency within our areas. Fantastic opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Pucklechurch, Bristol. Ongoing work with an immediate start, weekly pay, easy online application. Apply today and start work tomorrow! The role involves driving either an HGV Class 2 or a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, both are curtain sided. You will be tasked with a route delivering to regular customers, usually completing between 4 to 8 drops each day. Starting at 5am and a typical day would be 8 to 10 hours, working Monday to Friday. The vehicle will be loaded and ready for you in the morning, you will be required to complete the usual vehicle checks and make sure the load is secure. The load will be on pallets and will either be unloaded by Forklift, or for smaller deliveries you will be required to unload using the pump truck and tail lift. This is a great opportunity for ongoing HGV Class 2 driving work with a reputable company, which could lead to a permanent position. Hours and pay £16.00 per hour paid weekly every Friday. Working Monday to Friday starting at 5am and usually working 8 to 10 hours a day. Optional overtime on Saturdays paid at an enhanced rate. Requirements Previous Class 2 / HGV2 driving experience is desired, however not essential. Full UK driving licence, with category C. Valid Tacho and CPC. Good level of customer service skills.
