Known for our work with luxury hotels, destinations, and lifestyle brands, we create powerful editorial and digital content, serving as a strategic brand partner to clients looking to elevate their voice, narrative, and market presence. We’re seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Manager for 12-Month FTC, supporting top-tier luxury and hospitality clients while helping position Hg2 as a leading strategic and creative partner. This role blends client strategy, content planning, marketing, brand positioning, and project oversight, all through a strong editorial lens and with meticulous attention to detail. This is a 12-month maternity cover role, starting January 2026, with a short handover period beforehand. The Role You’ll lead strategy and delivery across high-profile accounts, helping shape brand direction, refine messaging, and ensure smooth end-to-end account management. You’ll serve as the day-to-day contact for clients, guide internal teams, and contribute to strategic communications, planning documents, and presentations. Strong account management experience, ideally within luxury hospitality or travel, is essential, along with a strong grasp of brand positioning and tone of voice. Experience working with or overseeing editorial teams is highly valued. Italian fluency or experience working with Italian brands is a plus. Key Responsibilities Client Strategy & Brand Positioning • Lead strategic direction and content planning for key hospitality accounts, • Help clients refine their tone of voice, messaging, and positioning, • Develop and manage quarterly strategies aligned with brand goals and seasonal priorities, • Ensure all output reflects a clear and consistent brand narrative, • Position Hg2 as a strategic and creative partner to clients Account Management • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, running calls and managing feedback, • Translate client goals into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams, • Build strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and delivery, • Oversee internal project timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution Admin, Tracking & Reporting • Maintain trackers, timelines, systems, and documentation, • Manage project workflows and ensure status updates are captured and shared clearly, • Deliver structured client reports and recaps with strategic insights, • Coordinate approvals and feedback loops internally and externally Agency Growth & New Business • Contribute to creds decks, pitch materials, case studies, and proposals, • Support Hg2’s own brand positioning and thought leadership through marketing initiatives, • Collaborate on strategic messaging for internal and external communications Ideal Candidate • 4–6+ years’ experience in account management, brand strategy, or marketing (preferably in hospitality, hotel management, luxury, or travel), • Proven ability to lead client relationships and deliver strategic direction, • Strong understanding of tone of voice, narrative development, and brand positioning, • Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple clients and timelines, • Experience working with or briefing editorial teams to maintain brand consistency, • Italian fluency or experience working with Italian hospitality brands is a strong advantage What You'll Gain • Lead strategy for prestigious hospitality & lifestyle brands, • A leadership role in a growing, evolving agency, • Hybrid working (3 days in our London office + remote flexibility), • Creative, collaborative culture where ideas have real impact, • 23 days holiday + public holidays, pension contribution, • Bonus scheme + professional development opportunities To Apply Please email your CV, a short cover letter highlighting your hospitality and/or brand experience, salary expectations, current notice period / availability to start, and any relevant supporting materials to , using the subject line: ‘Strategic Account Manager Application’.
