This is not simply an administrative sales support role. You will play an active part in developing our sales territories — using customer and sales data to identify opportunities, supporting field sales activity, and becoming an accessible, trusted point of contact for our customers. You'll join at an exciting point of growth for the field sales team, which is expanding from two to four Territory Sales Managers over the coming months — giving you the chance to help shape how Internal Sales supports a growing territory structure. Working closely with Territory Sales Managers, you will help ensure opportunities are identified and followed through, customers receive excellent support, and the field sales team is free to focus its time on relationships and winning business. What You'll Do Territory & Data Support • Support Territory Sales Managers in delivering their territory sales plans, including diary prioritisation and meeting preparation., • Analyse sales and customer data to identify growth opportunities: geographical gaps, declining or dormant accounts, and under-penetrated product ranges., • Turn data into practical sales actions, not just reports. Customer Relationship Management • Become a dependable, proactive point of contact for customers between Territory Sales Manager visits., • Build relationships through regular phone and email contact; respond to enquiries promptly., • Support new customer onboarding, dormant account reactivation, and product/collection launches. New Business & Pipeline • Assist in identifying and researching prospective customers and geographical opportunities., • Make initial contact and qualify opportunities ahead of field sales visits., • Follow up prospects after meetings and presentations to keep pipeline moving. CRM & Reporting • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM., • Support the National Sales Manager with sales information and reporting as required. How Success Will Be Measured Performance will be assessed against a combination of individual and team KPIs, including territory sales growth, customer retention and reactivation, new business generation, product penetration, CRM accuracy, and quality of Territory Sales Manager support. Success is measured by commercial value created — not call or email volume. Working With Territory Sales Managers The Internal Sales Executive and Territory Sales Manager operate as a partnership. The Territory Sales Manager owns the face-to-face relationship and overall territory performance; Internal Sales provides consistent contact, data insight and follow-up between visits. Both roles maintain a detailed, shared understanding of the territory, its customers and its opportunities. You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your area and identify opportunities proactively — spotting a declining account, a geographical gap, or a customer who hasn't been contacted recently — rather than waiting to be told. The role requires someone comfortable asking: “Where is the opportunity, and what can we do about it?” About You Essential • Excellent telephone and written communication skills; confidence building commercial relationships., • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers and data., • Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable prioritising multiple customer requirements independently., • Good general IT skills and willingness to learn CRM/reporting systems. Desirable • Experience in internal sales, account management, or sales support, ideally B2B/trade., • Experience with CRM systems or account reporting., • Experience within blinds, curtains, interiors or home furnishings., • Experience supporting field-based sales teams or liaising with independent retailers.
