This role will provide Supervisory support for the Facilities Lead of Seqirus Vaccines Ltd. To ensure delivery of effective support services so the business remains competitive and lean to deliver Seasonal and Global Pandemic Influenza Vaccines across the globe. The Support services across the Liverpool Sites cover, but not limited to, Facilities Maintenance, Mechanical and Electrical, Compliance Management, Regulatory Audits, Standard Operating Procedures, Corrective Action plans and Deviations, EHS Compliance , Sub contractor Management and Permitting through Safe systems of work , involving Life safety systems, Water Hygiene Management, providing small works delivery program and Lifecycle Capital Project program using the Seqirus project management systems. The role of the QC Sample Management Team Supervisor (18 month Fixed Term Contract) is to effectively coordinate and support site with all sample management activities, from receipt and distribution to the relevant labs internally to the shipping of sample to 3rd party laboratories (other Seqirus sites, external test laboratories and regulatory labs). Also responsible for the control of retains in compliance with ICH, WHO, the company quality guidelines and SOP’s and other regulatory requirements. Responsibilities • To provide direction to the team and ensure that mandatory training is in place. To encourage optimal performance of staff through training, feedback, coaching and development planning in conjunction with the manager. To track attendance and timekeeping and lead disciplinary / counselling sessions. Coordinating the receipt of stability samples, reserve samples and retain samples from third party suppliers and store/distribute following site procedures., • To participate in improvement project teams (e.g., Lean labs) where required driving quality decisions and provide advice and technical support where required. Coordinate completion of and resulting activities., • Manage the storage, annual inspection and disposal of the final product retain samples on behalf of the site Qualified Person(s). As we continue to invest in automation, operational excellence and new product development, we are seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to play a key role in driving plant reliability, continuous improvement and safe, efficient operations. The Role Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director, the Engineering Manager will lead a small team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers to ensure all production plant, machinery and site facilities operate reliably, safely and in line with all regulatory requirements. A core objective of this role is to deliver >95% machinery availability and support the efficient running of our automated processing plant. You will also take full responsibility for contractor control and the planning and execution of all maintenance activities across the site. Key Responsibilities • Lead, develop and coordinate a multi-skilled engineering team driving a pro-active, can-do culture., • Oversee installation, commissioning and optimisation of new equipment., • Ensure safe operation, maintenance and statutory inspection/testing of existing plant., • Rapidly respond to breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement effective preventative measures., • Manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and asset care strategy., • Control the ordering, availability and cost efficiency of critical spares., • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all plant examinations and inspections (internal and third-party)., • Manage contractor activities on site, including inductions, permits and compliance documentation., • Lead engineering elements of capital projects from concept and design through to commissioning and handover., • Communicate effectively with production, operations and other key stakeholders., • Ensure departmental budget control and support continuous improvement initiatives., • Ensure all internal processes, procedures and systems are followed at all times by all members of your team., • Support the delivery of day-to-day engineering activities including hands-on support within the team. Role: Regional Fundraiser - Covering Merseyside and Cheshire Reports to: Regional Fundraising Manager Objective: 2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. Aims: • Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite, • Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals, • Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person, • Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person, • Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person, • Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person 2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death. We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don't have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us. However, we know that gaps in support for those suddenly bereaved still exist outside of Wales. And so we are expanding into England! At the start of 2024 we expanded the geographical area where we deliver our service, and have recruited a brand new team to support service users in the border counties, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. This is the first of several phases of expansion and the aim is to deliver our service throughout all England and Wales in the coming years. Context of role: 2wish supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are a largely self-funded charity providing support across Wales and more recently, in the bordering counties with England. Our support team works very closely with our fundraising team to increase income but also to raise awareness of the work of 2wish. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to raise awareness of the charity, building it’s profile and engaging communities across the English counties that border Wales. It will involve helping to organise fundraising events, working with volunteers and encouraging community fundraising opportunities. Main duties: Service: • To help raise awareness of 2wish and the work we do in England, • To work alongside the support team in England and to build on the reputation of 2wish, • Research, approach and engage community groups and local supporters using mechanisms for engaging their support to develop additional sources of income, • To liaise with the public in England who are fundraising for 2wish, • To support the delivery of community and corporate events, and monitor the income raised, • To attend community and networking events where necessary, • To actively participate in and collaborate on financial planning for England as a business unit during regular fundraising meetings, • To submit an annual business plan and budgets for the England fundraising team, • To submit monthly and annual reports to the Fundraising Manager as required and work to monthly targets, • Supporting the 2wish Fundraising Team with events and community fundraising, • Working with the Volunteer Coordinator to identify and secure volunteers and ambassadors, meeting them regularly and maintaining engagement, • Maintain relationships with all donors including attending cheque presentations, • To work flexibly, travel, and make overnight stays when required, • To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity when required, • A ‘hands-on’ and ‘can-do’ attitude, • Contribute on the social media platforms maintained by 2wish, • To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration, • To maintain a high degree of confidentiality in accordance with the charity’s policies, • To work as part of a team, • To attend meetings as necessary - both virtually and in person, • To show respect and sensitivity for the cultural and religious beliefs of families, • To undertake training to update skills as necessary, • To contribute to the evaluation and monitoring processes to ensure effectiveness of services and activities provided, • To adhere to all health and safety procedures with regards to working off site This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. What we do for you: Salary: Starting salary of £26,500 (pro-rata) Contract type: Permanent Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week. Deliver technical demonstrations and solution-focused sales across a range of marking and coding technologies. Manage custom projects involving machine integration and coordinate with internal and external technical teams. Monitor and forecast sales pipeline, track opportunities, and maintain a disciplined sales process. Work closely with service and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project delivery. Travel across the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays. Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Requirements Experience in technical sales roles such as Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, or Account Manager. Background in industrial equipment, automation systems, CNC or CMM machinery is highly desirable. Excellent communication, organisation, and follow-up skills with a strong customer service focus. Aptitude for mechanical systems, IT literacy, and ability to analyse and progress bespoke projects. Highly self-motivated, organised, and reliable with the discipline to manage a remote workload effectively. Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree) is desirable.
