This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive tax specialist to take ownership of personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory work, work closely with partners, and support the growth of a busy tax team.Key Responsibilities of the Tax Senior: • Manage and deliver tax compliance work, including preparing personal and corporate tax returns as a Tax Senior., • Provide proactive tax advice to a varied client portfolio, including owner-managed and SME clients., • Review tax computations and filings prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and consistency., • Liaise with HMRC and external stakeholders on client matters in your capacity as Tax Senior., • Support partners with client meetings, technical research, and business development initiatives., • Mentor and guide junior staff, helping build a strong and capable tax team. Skills & Experience Required of the successful Tax Senior:, • ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent) qualified or nearing qualification., • Proven tax experience within an accountancy practice, suited to the Tax Senior level., • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate and personal taxation., • Experience managing client relationships and supervising junior staff., • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills., • Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset.
