Job Title: Head ChefLocation: SouthendRemuneration: £31,000 - £33,000 Full Time, 37.5hrs (7am to 3pm/10.30am to 6pm) Contract Details: Permanent you we be required to work alternate weekends Responsibilities: • Lead and inspire a dedicated catering team to deliver exceptional service, meeting all dietary requirements., • Manage the food cycle with an emphasis on quality and hygiene, ensuring compliance with regulations., • Collaborate for menu consultations and feedback., • Oversee special dietary needs while adhering to allergen regulations., • Provide operational support for the in-house café, including stock management and waste control., • Conduct regular budget meetings, ensuring financial compliance and addressing any overspend., • Maintain well-stocked communal areas with refreshments and snacks., • Conduct risk assessments, ensuring safety standards are upheld in the kitchen., • Supervise and develop catering staff, managing rotas and recruitment processes.
