Manufacturing Engineer \n Location: Rotherham \n Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE \n Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on complex, high-precision components within a highly technical manufacturing environment? \n Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established specialist manufacturer in Rotherham, supplying precision-engineered components into the aerospace sector. Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Creating and developing manufacturing methods and processes.\n, • Designing and developing work-holding solutions, including technical drawings.\n, • Simulating CNC programmes using Vericut.\n, • Providing shop floor support during new process and product prove-outs.\n, • Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.\n, • Producing technical production documentation, including SOPs, tooling sheets and inspection sheets.\n, • Providing technical support and expertise to the production team.\n, • Applying knowledge of special processes, heat treatments and coatings.\n, • Supporting measurement and inspection activities.\n, • Providing technical support to project and commercial teams.\n, • Identifying risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.\n, • Supporting continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.\n, • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.\n\n We're looking for someone with a strong manufacturing engineering background who is confident working in a precision engineering environment. \n You'll ideally have: \n\n • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or an apprentice-trained equivalent.\n, • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.\n, • Experience with CNC programming and Vericut simulation.\n, • CAD/CAM experience.\n, • Previous experience within the aerospace or defence sector.\n, • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n, • Excellent attention to detail.\n, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\n, • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.\n, • A proactive approach and a genuine interest in improving manufacturing processes.\n\n This is a great opportunity to join a technically advanced manufacturing business where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on processes, efficiency and product quality. \n Apply now to speak with the Elevation Recruitment Group Engineering & Manufacturing team.
