About the Role As a Sales Manager, you will lead and scale DHS IT Solutions Ltd’s managed cloud and data services sales function. You will drive new business, manage key customer relationships, meet revenue targets, and support the growth of a high-performing sales operation. This role blends hands-on sales, strategic planning, and sales leadership, enabling you to expand our footprint across the UK. This is a hybrid role requiring travel to client sites when necessary and a regular presence at our Newcastle Head Office. Who Are We? Why Work for DHS IT Solutions Ltd? • A culture of transparency, ownership, and shared success, • Genuine progression paths, including Sales Director or Practice Lead roles, • Access to Microsoft partner training, certifications, and enablement programmes, • Work with elite Azure, Data Engineering, and AI specialists, • Flexible hybrid working model, • Opportunities to work on high-impact digital transformation projects Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a sales strategy for Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and data consulting services, • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across the UK mid-market and enterprise sectors, • Build and maintain a strong pipeline across new and existing accounts, • Attend customer meetings to understand requirements and position tailored solutions, • Lead the full consulting sales cycle: discovery, solutioning, proposals, negotiation, and closure, • Build compelling Statements of Work (SOWs) and transformation roadmaps, • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure proposals align with client objectives, • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities, • Leverage Microsoft partner channels for co-selling and referral opportunities, • Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets, • Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to a high-performing sales culture, • Provide sales forecasts, market insights, and performance reports to senior leadership Knowledge, Skills & Experience • 6+ years’ experience in B2B technology or consulting sales, • Proven success selling Azure, cloud, or data consulting services, • Strong understanding of Azure architecture, cloud fundamentals, and data engineering, • Ability to translate customer challenges into actionable consulting engagements, • Experience working with UK mid-market or enterprise organisations, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, • Ability to manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle independently, • Experience mentoring or supporting junior sales staff.
