Job Title: Change Control and Requirements Manager Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP) Service Area: Infrastructure Programme Hours of Work: 37 Per week Salary: £50,000 – 60,000 What You’ll be doing: As the Change Control and Requirements Manager you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting on overall programme change, coordinating the Emergent Works Forum, managing project requirement requests and ensuring that change is managed appropriately in order to provide a stable and deliverable programme that is aligned to the , strategic outcomes and objectives of Portsmouth Naval Base. You’ll work directly with the PMO Lead, Asset management, and the client, to ensure that requirements are accurately captured, understood, and processed through the emergent works and change control forums.You will be responsible for highlighting any current and potential risks and issues and/or schedule conflicts for resolution or escalation to the IDTs, Programme Managers as necessary. An important part of this role will be to maintain compliance with approved processes, procedures and Project Execution Plans. In addition, you will facilitate change control meetings and provide regular reporting to the PMO lead. You’ll Have: You’ll be an experienced hands-on Change Control Manager with a qualification in Change PMO or Project Management with experience working with both internal and external teams.This can have been gained within a mixed industrial and professional environment, preferably in an infrastructure environment. You’ll have a sound knowledge of the project lifecycle including requirements management, change control, aspects of delivering major projects along with experience in large multi-year programmes. Along with this you will have excellent knowledge and experience of MS project,Excel, and standard change control techniques. You will have strong experience working across different functions and levels of management and be confident facilitating meetings internally and externally. The ability to manipulate large amounts of data for reporting is crucial. About you: You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to convey complex concepts and lengthy workstreams in clear, concise and visually appealing formats, taking into account the target audience you are delivering the information to. Along with this you will possess strong experience working across different functions and levels of management and individuals and be confident facilitating meetings internally and externally. To be successful in this role you will be comfortable at developing and maintaining productive relationships with a diverse team and will be someone who actively listens, clarifies, gives and seeks feedback.
