Purple Rocket Recruitment is working exclusively with Voices for Children Limited who is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead one of their children’s residential homes, supporting young people aged 6–18 who have experienced trauma, neglect, and abuse. The Role As a Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You will lead and inspire a committed staff team, creating a positive, stable environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring flexibility, dedication, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities for Registered Manager • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team, • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements, • Oversee safeguarding practices and promote a safe, nurturing environment, • Manage care planning to meet each child’s individual needs, • Maintain strong partnerships with external professionals and agencies, • Oversee budgets, staffing, and the overall operation of the home, • Drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections About You You are a confident and compassionate leader with a strong background in residential childcare. You bring a child-centred approach, resilience, and the ability to inspire others.
