This role involves driving refuse collection vehicles and supporting waste collection services across the local area.Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 15:00 Friday 07:00 – 14:30Role Accountabilities:Driving HGV 2 bin lorries (refuse collection vehicles) in line with scheduled routesEnsuring safe and responsible operation of the vehicle at all timesCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defectsWorking alongside loaders to complete waste collection routes efficientlyAdhering to all road traffic legislation and health & safety regulationsProviding a professional and courteous service to members of the publicAssisting with loading duties where requiredThe Experience You Will Bring:Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) LicenceValid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious experience driving large vehicles, ideally refuse collection vehiclesGood knowledge of road safety and driving regulationsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamReliable, punctual and safety consciousGood communication skillsMarket 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance & ITAD.
